Employee Services Group
The Employment Services group at OACES guides students through their work search process. The office provides not only career direction for students but also offers support services to employers, helping them to identify qualified candidates. ESG works closely with the OACES programs to supply the community with educated and qualified employees.
ESG provides training and assistance with resume writing, preparing job applications, interviewing techniques, dressing for success and navigating on-line job searches. The service does not end when a student finds employment. OACES continues to assist providing students and alumni with information daily living, personal finance, healthy habits and much more!
ESG services also offers transitional services, working with students at all stages to make their evolution from student to employee a success. Transitional activities focus primarily on removing common barriers students may experience when looking for employment.
Employers who work with OACES find that the Employee Services Group offers a number of different services that include pre-screening applicants and arranging on-site interviews. ESG is also every knowledgeable about employer tax incentives and grant opportunities for which they may be eligible when hiring students from our school.
