My name is Erin Hoover, and I am originally from Johnson City, New York. I came to Rochester in 1999 to attend the University of Rochester, where I earned my bachelors degree in French in 2003.  I spent several years teaching French and also teaching English abroad before entering the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) masters program at Nazareth College. Upon earning my masters degree in 2009, I began teaching in the Newcomer program at Jefferson High School in the Rochester City School District. I currently enjoy teaching English as a New Language (ENL) at East High School in the lower school. I like working with students, learning about many languages and cultures, and traveling.
