Meet Ms. Cholach!

My name is Larissa Cholach and I am an elementary ENL teacher at the Rochester International Academy. I am thrilled to be at RIA and am enjoying the opportunity to get to know and learn from my students. I completed by my undergraduate and graduate studies at Nazareth College. I recieved my bachelors in speech therapy and hold certifications in General Education, Special Education, and English to Speakers of Other Languages.

Just like my students I speak another language as well, Ukrainian. One night a week I teach Ukrainian dancing and on Saturday mornings I teach a Ukrainian Kindergarten class. When I am not working I enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking and doing all kids of different crafts. I enjoy spending time with my parents, brother, sister and nephews, as well as with my close friends and their families.

I am looking forward to all the wonderful things still to come this year.
