Home Language Writing Assessment

Upon arrival at the Rochester International Academy, students are given a series of initial assessments for placement purposes. One of the assessments given to each student is a native language writing assessment. This allows teachers to assess whether that student is literate (reading and writing) in their native language.

The content of the questions also provides information about the students' formal schooling experiences.
