Hello everyone! My name is Janice Irwin and this is my sixth year teaching 7th and 8th grade bilingual mathematics at Monroe. I was born and raised in NYC and my parents are from the Dominican Republic. I moved to Rochester five years ago. I graduated from Pace University with my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and graduated from Fordham University with my Master's degree in Secondary Math Education. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband and my three children (soon to be four!). I am so excited to meet you all and share my love of math!

¡Hola a todos! Me llamo Janice Irwin y este es mi sexto año enseñando matemáticas bilingües de séptimo y octavo grado en Monroe. Nací y crecí en Nueva York y mis padres son de la República Dominicana. Me mudé a Rochester hace cinco años. Me gradué de la Universidad de Pace con mi licenciatura en Matemáticas y me gradué de la Universidad de Fordham con mi maestría en Educación secundaria en matemáticas. Lo que más me gusta es pasar tiempo con mi esposo y mis tres hijos (pronto sera cuatro!). ¡Estoy tan emocionada de conocerlos y compartir mi amor por las matemáticas!
