    Before calling for help, there may be a quick fix

    First line of defense - If everything is turned on (board/projector, speakers, and computer) AND everything is connected/plugged in (VGA, USB, and  speaker) and things are not working properly, please restart your computer.
     
    If that doesn't work, then please read below for any specific problems you may be having.
    Cleaning the Board
    My board is dirty, How do I clean it?
    Erratic Movement and Gaps
    As I write, there are gaps in my writing.

    The pointer is moving erratically and jumping around the board.
    Flickering Board
    My SMART board image is flickering.

    My SMART board image is having difficulty turning on,then it flickers and turns off.
    Image Color
    The color of the image is red, yellow, blue..
    Orienting the Board
    When I touch the board, my pointer is not where I touch.
    Pen TrayOne or more of the pens in the pen tray doesn't work.
    Projector
    My projector won't turn on.

    The image is barely visible on the board

    There is a large area on the board that is browned out.

    Should I leave my projector on all day or turn it off after each time I use it?

    Is there something I can do to make my bulb last longer?
    ResolutionThe image on the SMART board does not fit the screen.
    SMART Image
    There is no image on the SMART Board.
    SMART Notebook
    My toolbar is gray and I can't click on anything.

    I don't have many items in my Gallery.

    My Lesson Activity Toolkit and Gallery Essentials are missing

    I just had a SMART board go up in my room, how do I get SMART Notebook on my computer?

    SMART Sound
    Sound isn't coming out of my SMART speakers.

    I can't get sound out of my computer with SMART
    speakers connected.

    What can I use to write on the board?

    My students have a hard time moving objects on the screen, is there something else they can use other than their finger?
