City R-Center Summer Programs and Experiences

  • Summer is a time for children to be children and create memories that will last a lifetime, and that’s what the City of Rochester’s R-Centers have to offer. Whether you like swimming, hiking, gardening, sports, or any of the hundreds of activities we have in store, children and families will have no trouble keeping physically active, mentally engaged, and emotionally supported all summer long.

2024 Community-Based Summer Opportunities for Students

  • In addition to RCSD summer learning for scholars, our community partners in the Rochester community offer various activities, such as arts, sports, STEM, literacy, and more to city residents through GRASA, Greater Rochester After-school and Summer Alliance.

These independent non-district programs require registration and typically have limited spots. Interested youth and families should contact the program providers as soon as possible to secure a spot. Please note that some programs may have additional requirements, such as an application, interview, essay, or fees.

For more information, please see the 2024 GRASA Summer Program Catalog.
