RCSD Students Recognized as All-Greater Rochester 2024 Spring Athletes
(July 10, 2024) The Rochester City School District congratulates the student-athletes who were honored with 2024 All-Greater Rochester Spring Team and Honorable Mention recognitions, as selected by the Democrat and Chronicle. First-team recognitions and honorable mentions are highlighted below.
Flag Football
Kamyra Clyburn, Monroe
Kamyra was the quarterback and outside linebacker of this year’s team. Her key accomplishment was rushing for seven touchdowns in a game. Her parents are Veronica Albritton and Lazarus L. Clyburn-Dawson.
Baseball
Miguel Matos, East
Miguel was a pitcher and third baseman for this year’s team. His key accomplishments were a 9-0 record as a pitcher and a .585 batting average. He plans on attending MCC to play baseball. His parents are Yalimar Reveron and Jose Matos.
Boys Track and Field
Perrion Williams, Franklin/World of Inquiry
Perrion was a three-time AGR first-team member. He finished first in the 100-meter dash at the New York State Track and Field Championship in Syracuse and competed at the New Balance nationals. A previous gold medal winner in the 300-meter dash at the Track and Field State Championship in March, Perrion will attend Barton Community College in Kansas where he will study nursing and run track. His parent is Sherry Kitchens.
